John Dixon: Actor
John began his professional career at the age of 18 as a performer/writer in residence/ASM at the MAC in Birmingham. He went on to work in many of the top repertory theatres in the country, including Nottingham Playhouse, Birmingham Rep and Sheffield Crucible.
He worked extensively on television for the BBC and ITV as well as appearing in several feature films including 'A Fish called Wanda' and 'The Slipper and the Rose'.
In 1990, John moved behind the camera and built a successful second career as a writer, director and producer delivering programming around the world for BBC, ITV, Discovery, ESPN and UKTV.
But he has now returned to being in front of the camera as an actor, as he always regarded his acting career as 'unfinished business'.
